Last Wednesday the readings at our mid-week prayer meeting explored how to put down the false claims in man’s existence of sin, sickness, and death, because these claims are at odds with Jesus’ command in the book of Matthew: “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” Tonight we will explore further the question, “If man is perfect, like his Father, how then can he be a sinner, become sick and die?” by citing additional Bible authority for putting forth this inquiry. The reason and logic brought out in Mary Baker Eddy’s book, Science And Health with Key to the Scriptures, is used to elucidate and understand this additional Bible authority.
