This Weekend’s Wonderful Offerings (Nov 2-3, 2019)

Sunday Reminder — Two items of note regarding getting to church and Sunday School on time this Sunday, November 3rd at 10:30am: 1) Clocks turn back Sunday night one hour as Standard Time resumes, and 2) the Hot Chocolate Run will close some streets in the neighborhood. Most roads should be open by the time church starts. Here is the link to check for road closure information.

 

Open House Chicago – October 19 & 20, 2019

This weekend Seventeenth Church of Christ, Scientist is once again participating in the Chicago Architectural Foundation’s annual Open House Chicago.  We are one of 200 locations open to the public all weekend!  Stop by for a quick tour.  Our plaza level lobby and auditorium will be open:

Saturday, October 19:  10-5 pm
Sunday, October 20: 12-5 pm

National Night Out – August 6

The 18th District Community Policing Office invites you to ‘National Night Out’ 2019. Americas’s Night Out Against Crime. Meet your police service teams, while enjoying food, games, music, resources, and police demonstrations.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.
