Join in tomorrow – after worship & Sunday School on August 11th – for a conversation and sharing session in the Reading Room. Bring your sandwich or grab one at a nearby shop after the service and come back to the Reading Room for 45 minutes or so. Open to all ages, we’ll begin around 11:45 a.m. and share inspiration from the service/Sunday School, talk about ideas from this week’s Christian Science Bible Lesson – “Spirit,” and other pertinent ideas.
June 10 was the first anniversary of the signing of a powerful solidarity pledge on the Federal Plaza in Chicago by the eight Sharing Sacred Spaces: Downtown Chicago 
religious communities who participated in a pilot program of interreligious community building. The project was created in partnership between the Council for a Parliament of the World’s Religions and Suzanne Morgan of Sacred Space International. The weekend also marked the completion of the second year of the work of these eight congregations building solidarity for mutual support and neighborhood service.
